About the Organization:
" The First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference."
Mission:
'' To positively impact the lives of Dallas-area young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.''
This organization has built a new facility called the First Tee Learning Center located in South Dallas on the same property of Trinity Forest Golf Club off Elam Rd. It will be opening this month and has big plans for the future.
Kids participating in this program will learn be introduced to the "Nine Core Values"
